A few quick things to know before booking your appointment

Arrivals
Please arrive on time. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be cancelled and the full service fee will apply.

No-shows
Missed appointments will be charged the full service fee and future bookings may not be accepted.

New clients
I work on bare natural nails only. If you currently have product on your nails, please have it removed before your appointment.

Very bitten or damaged nails
If your nails are bitten, ripped, or very damaged, please send photos via the enquiry form first as these require a different service process.

Parking
There isn’t time to move your car during your appointment, so please find a minimum 2-hour park on Lynch Street or nearby streets before arriving.

    By booking with Apricot Nails, you agree to the following:

    🧼 New Clients

    • I don’t work over or remove SNS, acrylic, hard gel or BIAB applied elsewhere. These must be removed before your first appointment. Ask the tech not to over-file!

    • Bitten, ripped or damaged nails? Let’s chat first. There’s a different process to bring them back to health.

    Late or Need to Cancel?

    • Cancel within 48hrs: 50% fee

    • No-show: 100% fee

    • More than 10 min late = no-show

    Service Style

    This isn’t your quickie shopping centre mani. I take my time to do it right, so check service times when booking and maybe don’t squeeze it in on a tight lunch break.

    Appointment Length

    Appointments range from 1.5–2.5 hours depending on nail condition, art, and prep. Sit back with tea, coffee or a provided streaming while I work. Silent appointments are always available.

    💡 Help Keep Things Moving

    • Phone down, hands still – moving hands = difficult to apply neatly.

    • Limit chat during tricky stages like painting, extensions or nail art.

    • Don’t touch your hair, bag, or clothes mid-service.

    • Prep your nails with daily cuticle oil + hand cream = better, longer-lasting results.

    • Got a tear or break? Book a repair onto your service.

    • Be colour confident – choose at the beginning, indecision eats into your appointment time.

    🏡 Studio Etiquette

    • 1:1 appointments only, no kids or plus ones allowed.

    I Don’t Treat:

    Any infected nails or skin (fungal, warts, etc). If you're unsure, send a photo beforehand. Your health and hygiene come first.

    🤒 Illness & Allergies

    • Sick? Reschedule. Same goes for me.

    • Allergies or health conditions? Please share them in the consultation form/agreement.

    🔧 Repairs

    • Free within 7 days if it’s my error.

    • After that: $10 per nail.

    • Breaks due to cleaning, chemicals or rough handling are on you.

    💸 Refunds & Payments

    • No refunds, credits or change-of-mind swaps.

    • All services are appointment only. Arrive on time, and no more than 5 mins early, if you’re late, you will lose service time and this will affect what we can reasonably achieve within the appointment timeframe.

    🚨 Life Happens

    If something comes up unexpectedly on my end, I’ll reschedule with as much notice as possible.
