Terms & Conditions
By booking with Apricot Nails, you agree to the following:✨ Service Style
This isn’t your quickie shopping centre mani. I take my time to do it right, so maybe don’t squeeze it in on a tight lunch break.
🧼 New Clients
I don’t work over SNS, acrylic, hard gel or unknown BIAB. These must be removed before your appointment. Ask your tech not to over-file!
Bitten, ripped or damaged nails? Let’s chat first. There’s a different process to bring them back to health.
⏱ Appointment Length
Appointments range from 1.5–4 hours depending on nail condition, art, and prep. Sit back with tea, coffee or Netflix while I work.
💡 Help Keep Things Moving
Phone down, hands still – moving hands = messy work.
Limit chat during tricky stages like extensions or nail art.
Don’t touch your hair, bag, clothes or dog mid-service.
Prep your nails with daily cuticle oil + hand cream = better, longer-lasting results.
Got a tear or break? Let me know before, so I can plan a proper fix.
Be colour confident – indecision eats into your appointment time.
🏡 Home Studio Etiquette
This is a one-on-one space – no guests or kids, please.
My small dog may say hello. Allergic? This might not be the salon for you.
Respect the space so we can both enjoy the experience.
❌ I Don’t Treat:
Any infected nails or skin (fungal, warts, etc.). If you're unsure, send a photo beforehand. Your health and hygiene come first.
🤒 Illness & Allergies
Sick? Reschedule. Same goes for me.
Allergies or health concerns? Please share them ahead of time.
⏳ Late or Need to Cancel?
Cancel within 24hrs: 50% fee
No-show: 100% fee
More than 15 min late = no-show
🔧 Repairs
Free within 7 days if it’s my error.
After that: $10 per nail.
Breaks due to cleaning, chemicals or rough handling are on you.
💸 Refunds & Payments
No refunds, credits or change-of-mind swaps.
All services are appointment only. Arrive on time, text if early, or you may lose service time.
🚨 Life Happens
If something comes up unexpectedly on my end, I’ll reschedule with as much notice as possible.
Thanks for reading.
Looking forward to seeing you in the chair! -
How long does BIAB last?
3-4 weeks, sometimes longer, as long as you’re not heavy-handed, soaking them in water or using harsh chemicals. Is BIAB good for your nails?
BIAB itself isn’t good or bad for your nails, nail health is supported by correct application and removal of the products on them. Can I remove BIAB at home?
Yes you can! They can be removed with acetone just as normal nail polish can be. I’ve written down the process for you here. How does BIAB work?
It is a flexible product that supports healthy nail growth, it has a more natural finish than SNS and Acrylic. It can be refilled and removed damage-free.Why People Prefer BIAB:
No harsh filing or dipping chemicals
You don’t need to remove it every time, just infill, which protects your nail underneath
It grows out naturally with your nail without lifting (if applied properly)
Looks sleek, glossy and natural, great for minimal or clean girl styles
Stronger yet more flexible, which helps prevent breakage
